Why have I decided to take the Digital Marketing Nanodegree Program?

 It’s never too late

Following my passion, working with people, being the change I want to see, that’s exactly what I have dreamed to be.

I’m a 36- year- old single mom working with years of experience in teaching English as a second language. I hate routine😒😒, that’s why I stopped working at schools and started working as a part-timer/ freelancer.

I have always wanted to do something different, new, more creative, challenging, and change-making.

I had no idea what this would be🙍, until I started helping my friend, Derrick, who is a Vlogger making content about traveling. I started sharing my ideas passionately with him. My ideas worked and brought him more views and interaction on social platforms😎. He was astonished, and I finally felt like I have found my way.

At the age of 35, I have decided to follow my dreams and study Digital marketing as a step to change my career.

“Aren’t you too old for that?” “Isn’t it better to stick to what you already have?”😒😒 Those where the responds that I had to ignore, and only listen to my inner voice: “FOLLOW YOUR PASSION, IT”S NEVER TOO LATE.”

The happiness and motivation I feel after choosing this path worth the effort and time I am doing now. No matter what the future brings to me, I will always be grateful that I always choose what makes me feel happy, keeps me feeling young and motivates me to aspire to making my dreams come true.

If there is one thing that I want all women to keep in mind, it will be “it’s never too late to change your life and feel happier.”😍
